TEEI’s programmes are powered by volunteers: mentors, language instructors, and skills coaches. This guide covers volunteer management from recruitment to reporting.

Recruitment

Volunteers are recruited through:

  • Main website volunteer signup (/volunteer/)
  • PMI partner network (700K+ members)
  • LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns
  • Corporate partner programmes (CSR Cockpit)
  • Word of mouth from existing volunteers

Onboarding

  1. Volunteer submits application
  2. Programme coordinator reviews and approves
  3. Volunteer receives welcome email with platform access
  4. Optional orientation session (for mentors)
  5. Matching with participant(s)

Retention and Recognition

  • Session milestone badges (in CSR Cockpit for corporate volunteers)
  • Annual volunteer recognition
  • Impact reports showing volunteer contribution
  • Regular check-ins from programme coordinators

Tracking Hours

Volunteer hours are tracked via Kintell session data and reported as:

  • Impact hours in TEEI annual reports
  • Pro bono value in CSR partner reports
  • ESRS S1/S3 data for CSRD compliance
