TEEI’s programmes are powered by volunteers: mentors, language instructors, and skills coaches. This guide covers volunteer management from recruitment to reporting.

Recruitment
Volunteers are recruited through:
- Main website volunteer signup (/volunteer/)
- PMI partner network (700K+ members)
- LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns
- Corporate partner programmes (CSR Cockpit)
- Word of mouth from existing volunteers
Onboarding
- Volunteer submits application
- Programme coordinator reviews and approves
- Volunteer receives welcome email with platform access
- Optional orientation session (for mentors)
- Matching with participant(s)
Retention and Recognition
- Session milestone badges (in CSR Cockpit for corporate volunteers)
- Annual volunteer recognition
- Impact reports showing volunteer contribution
- Regular check-ins from programme coordinators
Tracking Hours
Volunteer hours are tracked via Kintell session data and reported as:
- Impact hours in TEEI annual reports
- Pro bono value in CSR partner reports
- ESRS S1/S3 data for CSRD compliance
